Nothing much i can pick up on... Maybe it looks just a bit... plain... or dull. I can't describe it really...maybe i just like things being too bright. -_- Try duplicating the layer and putting it on overlay? 9.5/10

Theres nothing wrong with plain and simple...maybe thats what the artist was going for to not take away from the person in the picture. Graphics that are too much tend to stray eyes to the fancy stuff and not lead back down to the purpose of the graphic.

The set is stylish... I like them. Nice, clean cut and blended well. I'd give them an 7/10 (I don't think I've ever given a ten out of ten... So don't be worried by the seven) Umm... Frankie, I think that Mystique_ just feels that the graphic is missing something. It's just her opinion. Even if the artist did intend to go for a more sparse look, they're opening their work up for critisism by having their work rated. I dunno... I think that people having to hide their opinions would suck. But I do agree with your point on people brushing their work just too much and straying away from the overall concept of their graphic... But that might just be their style. Who am I to judge? Hm. Maybe I should just shut up.

Actually.. i just kind of meant that it wasn't bright enough.. though i really can't find the words.. It's just a personal thing i guess. I just prefer graphics being like that, with a rather high [according to some] level of contrast.
Once again, personal opinions.
Edit: Perhaps 'plain' was bad word to use, but i really don't know anymore.

I was not saying that Mystique_ was right or wrong about her rating for its her personal opinion. I was just stating that its okay for graphics to be plain. Nothing more. * Shrugs *

It's all right... I deliberately put to be harsh. I'm sort of sick and tired of everyone telling me my graphics are 'perfect' when I see sooo many flaws in it xD.
Tanks Lily and Fwankk. I don't think they're at that level but yeah. And Mystique_...... It looked soooo horrible when I tried to do that on overlay and on soft light... and hard light and so forth it, I just stopped. There's some graphics that just don't look when you do that to 'em. And thanks Lorna. Meh... I think the set is plain too. I like doing my graphics like that.
Thanks for your critiques guys!

I think the images are really quite good. I think we look for perfection and most of us do it for pleasure or a hobby, unless you wanna earn money from making graphics what does it matter what any others says its if you are pleased with your work.
We all as designers seem to want others seal of approval for our work . At The end of the day its what we love to do, And it is not really required.
